Desc: Lightweight and comfortable leg protection. These chaps are easy to put on and remove, with durable Delrin quick-release buckles and smooth web straps that are easy to adjust. The PVC-Coated polyester shell is water-resistant and resists snagging in  under-brush. The unique dual-height waistbans allows adjustment for two different leg lengths. Protective material consists of five layer pad including polyester, polypropylene and aramid nylon blended fabric. The protective material is designed to give the wearer added reaction time should a moving chain come in contact with it. It does not prevent penetration by the saw chain. The pads are approximately 14-1/4" wide and cover the front and sides of the legs. Overall length of chaps are 36" but the Protective pad overall length is approximately 30". Actual coverage depends on the build of the wearer. Available in one size only (fits most people; *waist up to 50"). Color is international orange. Hand wash with mild detergent, hang-dry. Lining 100% polyester. UL-classified leg protective garment in accordance with ANSI ASTM F1897 standard specification for leg protection for chain saw users. (2008) 9F92 OR 8F67.
